This 1957 Chevy 2 door hardtop Bel Air is a local car that previous owner had over 20 years. He actually had new interior put in it 20 years ago and painted the car then as well. Then it sat in his barn till we bought it. We have it running and driving. It still has dead gas in it as you can smell when it is cranked but runs good. The paint is probably a 6 out of 10 now but a good wet sand and buff would really do wonders to make paint look better. It has some rust bubbles on bottom of both doors. There is also some rust in the rockers and drivers floor pan. ( See Pictures )The trunk is not bad. The engine I was told is a 327. The carb we rebuilt. The clutch feels ok and it shifts out ok. Car could be really nice with a little TLC. It does not have power steering or disc brakes. The brakes stop good. I have no idea of the miles or if engine or trans were rebuilt before it sat for so long.
