Description
Here is a nice 1969 Ford Ranchero that was bought new in California. It stayed in California till the late 80's when it was then bought by a gentleman in Michigan who kept the car for 30 years. It was never driven in the Winter so this car is very solid with no rust issues. The engine I was told is the matching number 302 connected to a C4 automatic transmission. It has an Eldebrock intake with a Holley carburetor. This car runs and drives great and shifts out like it should. In 1994 this Ranchero was walnut blasted and repainted to it's original color of Champagne Gold with Metallic Brown roof. The dash, door jams, door panels and engine bay was not repainted and is original paint. The bed has been rhino lined the same color as the exterior. It also has a tonneau snap on cover over the bed. The paint is still in great condition to be 28 years old. It has a few minor chips and dings but shows great. The wheels are US mags with 20's on the rear and 18's on the front. They are new as are the tires. The seat was reupholstered as well in 1994 and looks great. They are a couple cracks on the original dash but not bad. ( See Pics ) The interior features gold trim ( 5Y ) The doors shut tight and with ease and the rubber seals and window gaskets are all in good condition. It has the original spare behind the passenger seat. It has had disc brakes added to the front with factory power steering. The frontend received new springs, bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends. The factory speedometer works as does the odometer. It is showing less than 50,000 miles and I was told that is actual miles but I cannot prove that so you will have to be the judge on that. You can tell this Ranchero was also cared for and garaged. It has a great look to it and as I said I have driven car and it drives great. This car does not have vintage ac but that could easily be added. This is a good vehicle that is ready for it's new home.
