Description
Here is a 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 XL 2 door that you can get in and drive it anywhere you want to go. It has a sweet 289 engine that runs great. It is a factory 289 car. I believe this to be the original engine but not 100% sure on that. Car has 79,000 actual miles as stated on the Georgia title. The engine is stock with brand new dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers so it sounds good. The C-4 transmission shifts out like it should. This car has factory power steering with drum brakes but they stop good. It has A/C and heat. The paint is a dark green called British Racing Green. It has a new gas tank and new fuel sending unit. The gas hand works as does the speedometer. The body is straight and I have seen no rust anywhere on this car. It has bucket seats with center console and original floor shifter. The seats, door panels, headliner, carpet and dash all look great. This car was bought new in Hixson, Tennessee. All the lights work. The floor pans and trunk pan are very solid and original. New tires and factory hubcaps. There is a star crack in the middle of windshield about the size of a nickel. Not in visibility of driver or passenger. Fly in and drive this car home.
