Here is a super nice 1966 Chevy Impala Convertible with the matching number 396 Big Block engine and original Powerglide transmission. The engine compartment is detailed nicely. Car runs and shifts great. It has been restored back to original specs. It is Madeira Maroon exterior paint that is a strong 8 out of 10 in quality in my opinion. Only blemishes is a couple places on the hood. It has a new black convertible top that is electric and works perfect. The boot cover is new. The top is in great condition. It has black interior which is what it came with from factory and the interior is in excellent condition. The speedometer works but the gas gauge does not. This is also a factory power steering car. It has drum brakes that stop good. The tires are brand new as are the wheels and beauty bands. The trunk pan is solid. It has surface rust because of the trunk mat but solid. The floor pans are solid with no rust or replacement. It has the 12 bolt rearend and the frontend has been rebuilt. It has air shocks on the rear. All the chrome looks very good. This Impala is in excellent condition and just like it came off the assembly line back in 1966. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. I do not know if the miles showing on odometer is correct but I would say it was. The engine and transmission probably has alot less miles as I was told they were gone thru when restored. There is a folder full of receipts where the owner spent $44,800 restoring this car.
