Here is a great running and driving 1955 Chevy Bel Air 4 door post. It is a true Bel Air car. This car was bought at the Tri Five Nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky and was driven back to Georgia with no issues. It has the original 235 engine with split manifold and dual exhaust and sounds good. The original powerglide transmission shifts out good. Previous owner did alot of upgrades to it:
New Radial Tires
Electronic Distributor
Electric Wipers
New A Frame Bushings
New Front & Rear Bumpers
New Outside Mirrors
Outside Visor
New Rocker Mouldings
It has had 1 repaint some years ago but paint looks good still. The body is solid with no rust issues that I saw. It has yellow steelies with hubcaps and fender skirts. This car has a factory California frame. The interior is all original and still shows well. All the original gauges work as do the wipers, dome light and exterior lights, heater and even the cigarette lighter still works. It has an aftermarket radio in it. The is a couple of small places of rust underneath but 99% good and solid. All the floor pans and trunk pan is solid. The original trunk mat is still in the car along with the original jack and it has a spare. This car drives and handles great and hits the road like a champ. Just get in it and go!! The miles showing on ad is what the odometer shows. I do not know if actual miles or not but was told it is suppose to be original miles. I have no proof though. It runs like its original.
